Default Transparent windows in Win XP

I have heard that you can have transparent windows in Win XP.  Does anyone know how to set the window background color to transparent?

Thanks

Keefe

I don't know if you can do this in XP alone but if you get glass2k
you can make it happen.

I downloaded and installed that program tonight.  Its really cool but transparent windows take a ton of system resources.  I have a 450 MHZ processor and 256 MB of ram and it was struggling a little bit.

Anyways...here is a screenshot.

I was never really big on the whole transparent window thing.  It seems like a lot of wasted system resources for not very much.  If I want to see the window behind my current one, I either hit Alt+Tab, or just hit my hot-button on my mouse to minimize window.
