Default Anyone running Vista Beta 2?

I just heard it is now publically available, and want to download it, but I am a caveman and do not have a dvd burner. Any other way to install/use it without a dvd burner?

I'm debating whether or not to download Vista...I've heard there's lots of trouble with virus software and game play and such. Trying to read up on it and prepare before i do.

As to how to download, I've no clue. sorry.

I haven't tried it, and am not really someone that will run and get Beta OS, but if you have an extra machine, or heard good reviews, you could probably start with their official page, which is http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/

Yeah I don't have a test machine for it right now, and that is why I am a bit hesitant to pull the trigger. I am sure I will go for a dual boot set up at some point, but I don't have enough free space for i right now.

Really?

well, all the reviews I've read so far have been pretty ok considering it's still in Beta. will probably try it at some stage.

That's because MS picked up the designer of Apple's Aqua interface.

It's not like we're going anyone praising the work of Microsoft on a new OSX, even if it would end up being one of the best OSX ever made on the planet, I'm sure people will still find ways to bash it

I just realized I don't have a DVD burner right now, so I can't burn it after downloading it. Don't ask me why I don't have one, because the answer is I suck.

hmmm, I would have thought that they would given a CD-based version too...or does it even need to be burned?
