Does th fact that glowing fans are from Alaska make them cool better?

I know maxtor is working on one right now. I don't know if it's been released yet.

Maxtor, IBM, Seagate...all the big companies are working on them. I'm getting the RocketRAID 1540 from Highpoint here soon which has 4 SATA channels, and I'm working on contacting maxtor for some presamples of their SATA drives. I'll let you all know.
