use laptop screen on a pc??

the staff at my ibm store are wussies. The guy dosen't know what he's talking about, he knows even less of what I'm talking about. I guess i'm back to web searching.

thanks but that's not what I (we) need. I need the pin layout for the connector that goes from the laptop lcd to laptop mobo/video card. The info you gave is good to have but not what's needed.

A pinout and description of hardware neccessary to use a laptop screen on a desktop computer. (CHEAPLY)<----lot's of emphasis here
