Default Wednesday's news - the countdown begins

I'm itching to get to school right now...everyone's already left and I don't leave for Chicago until Friday. Any ideas on how to deal with the boredom?

Anyway, news for today:

Viperlair posts a review of the Nexland ISB SOHO. It looks very attractive and lands a perfect score. If you're needing some fast and sexy n3twurx1ng gear, check it out.

8-Ball's Hardware posts a review of this svelte and sexy little thang from Cooler Master, a 4-point LED case fan.

The other down-under meat, Overclockers New Zealand, serve up a review of the updated EPoX 8K5A3+ KT333CE. It's got 4 channels of RAID, better audio, and it really fits the bill for them. Of course, with 8x AGP and SATA getting support on the upcoming KT400 boards, it's probably a better idea to throw your money at those that integrate the newer standards.

Lan Addict gives us some budget gaming with the Radeon 9000 Pro. It keeps up, it does well, and NeoTokyo barely escapes annihilation.

Active-Hardware does a review of the Highpoint RocketRAID 1520. They don't use SATA drives (kinda hard to when they aren't out), but they work with IDE drives (converters, amusingly named the RocketHeads), and those cables really clean up your case. Check that out.

Finally, Mikhailtech is giving stuff away.

Cheers all,

Akimoto
