That doesn't mean it uses a phone line.

I don't think I would call it that... jason425 is making it sound like you have to have a phone line to use the above two services. All it takes is the internet, the app doesn't care how you bring it(wireless, cable, dsl, laser, etc).

BTW, I don't have a traditional copper pair phone line in my house at all. I'm strictly 100% VOIP.

Interesting......getting good reviews
Try: www.voipbuster.com. If you have an unlocked ATA like the Sipura 2100 or something like that: 1 EU, one time, and you can call anywhere in USA and Canada for free. Only downside: no incoming calls.

You can test the connection for free but are limited to 2 minutes per call, but US$1.5 is not bad for an unlimited outgoing connection! I have it as my "emergency" line.

Join the club!

I have a SunRocket, AxVoice and Broadvoice line and have a voipbuster line as backup. Did I mention that I have a cellphone too?

.....And I wonder why I'm getting voices in my head...

So far, SunRocket is the best deal, and BroadVoice has the worst (by far) reliability.

Regards,
Dave

I pay, but use lingo, they're not too bad of a voip service. I really needed free european calling and they provided it. so far it's been quite excellent.
