Default PCMods.Com PDP (Power Down Protector)

"...When you turn off your PC (If you do), your chip is at its hottest and this is where the PDP steps in. After shutdown the PDP goes into action receiving power from the Wake on LAN connector on your motherboard and sending a low voltage signal to your CPU fan to run it for anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes after shutdown. This removes the heat without having the CPU on and protects it from heat damage."
