Yeah no kidding if your MS isn't crashing theres 2 things that it is, becaue even bill gates admitts to his computer crashing.

1.) You don't use your box at all and you have a screenshot of the desktop taped to the screen!

or 2.) Your running almost any version of linux with a windows skin!!!

Oh? i dont use my box eh? Ok... bro add me on icq or msn... You'll see how many hours i'm on the computer! probably 20 hours a day! i arrive from sku then sleep at like 2 and then on the weekend i don't even eat breakfast i stay on it til like   2-3 am... (yes i have a social life! )

and my printer isn't good enough for me to beleive that its a screenshot as a real picture... Its only an Epson Stylus 660

Smoked1,

Did you run the MS XP Compatibility Test before loading XP ? MS sure did push that test. All device vendors haven't yet came out with XP drivers and some may not, as they are under no obligation to do. So that just means more upgrades all the way around. Just a thought.

well, just checking out different forums and for my first visit, I have to say if this is it, I'm not impressed, couldnt see to much in the way of answers, just stupid childish comments, and, you guessed it,  I'm out of here. >>>>>

As for the thread starter, sounds like you installed xp over the top of ME, a clean install is the only way with xp to avoid the problems. I have installed XP 34 times now and have not had 1 major problem.
