Default Lots of headlines from TweakTown

Here comes a big one from our friends at TweakTown:

ECS A780GM-A 780G Motherboard:

AMD's progress of late has been rather slow. With Phenom being initially delayed due to poor clocking, and then being bitten by the TLB bug in its B2 stepping core, AMD's Phenom has been a late bloomer. Although it has now come out of its shell, it's still not able to kick Intel off the performance ladder.

Today we are testing out ECS AMD 780G chipset variant that is designed to replace the 690G chipset which was very popular as a value option. How does ECS 780G compare to the ASUS 780G we have already tested? Let's take a gander.

MSI N9600GT Hybrid Freezer Graphics Card:

It's always nice to see companies mix it up with new coolers, and the Hybrid Freezer seems to have some pretty cool technology behind it. Convergence is key when you only have limited space.

The Thermaltake BlacX SE has everything the BlacX (USB) that we reviewed last week has, but it adds an extra feature; an integrated USB 2.0 hub. The SE version sits a little taller than the other variants and has a wider base, but the size difference isn't something you are going to notice since it is such a small amount.

Computex Taipei 2008 Booth Babes:

We are taking a break out from our live news coverage of Computex Taipei 2008 to touch on something that has become expected from us around this time every year. We had better not mention any names of the people that repeatedly ask us each year.

If you haven't figured it out yet, we're talking about the beautiful booth babes that occupy the Computex computer trade show halls here in Taipei, and now Nangang as of this year. We are already at Day 3 and as we walk around from meeting to meeting we snapped up plenty of photos of the girls working the show floor to help promote the many products and services on display.
