Still, the R9600 is faster than the 5600....So sad. I quit Nvidia when I had a GF 4 TI4600, it was too slow for me and its performance slaughters the 5200 and Mx cards...

I quit nvidia after I hosed both my g2mx and g4ti4200..

What the heck did you use then? The TI4600's were easily the fastest of their generation, it's the generation after it of the FX's that you can reasonably say were slower than the competition.

yeah.. the only card that beat it at the time was the 9700.. and that didnt even come out way later

the 9700 was even more revolutionary than the x800 or 6800 series is today....

Well, I'd hope so considering that the X800 is just using a tweaked version of the 9700.

I had it on a AMD XP 2400+ with 512 DDR 266 ram. I got it right after the R9700 came out. I had a MX 440 before that card, so I was happy for a little while, and then I found out that the 9700 could run AA at high resolutions, and the GF 4 couldn't, so I got a 9800 when they came out. My 4600 died immediatly after I bought it, so I sent it back for a replacement, and I still wasn't too happy with it.
