Default ntldr missing please help

hi everybody, i have all the time this error message ntldr missing.
but the problem is ican't access the bios my laptop doesn't also detect the bootable cd of windows xp i don't know what to do can anybody help me with this.

if your laptop is under warranty send it back

Default still the same problem

i've tried fix mbr, chkdisk, and i still have the same problem then i tried to copy it my self from the cd to c:\ but i got msg:access denied.
can u help me with this i have staff on my computer that i need as soon as possible it's my school project.
so does anyone have any suggestion??

what did you do to cause it? you said you can't get into the bios? if you can't even get to the bios there's not much we can do for you.. you can try taking the HD out and putting it in another comp and getting the files off that way...
