Matrox - what an awful company!

Has anyone ever tried to obtain technical support from Matrox Graphics? It's about as close to being impossible as you can get. There's a massive form to fill in which insists on you providing your card's serial number - even though in many cases, the serial number is impossible to find. They insist that you reply to questions that aren't relevant to non-US customers. They won't give you any support at all if you failed to register your product when you bought it - and to cap it all, they keep moving their forums. You spend ages carefully fighting your way through their tortuous forms - then, 3 months later, they move the URL for their forum and you have to spend ages setting up your details all over again. You're not even allowed to email tech support to ask where the forum's been located to...!

I'm old enough to remember when Matrox was a major force in computer graphics. Now it's an also-ran. A prime example of how arrogance and indifference to your customers can bring down a company's reputation.

The bottom line is that I'm trying to install a Matrox graphics card under Ubuntu Linux. The Ubuntu help forum (whilst very active) is pretty poor quality. Anyone know where I might be able to find Linux drivers (AND HELP) for a Matrox Millennium G400 card? The 'Help' bit is important because in my experience, drivers are usually very difficult to install under Linux.
