Changes...

Hi everyone,

Yup, I know, it's been a looooong time since you've probably seen my ugly mug around these parts.  What can I say, work and school have been treating me pretty bad.  I got the message of Netsmog and Hardware Pub joining forces and so I thought I would check it out.  I have to say that it's very good to see the board doing so well.  Congratulations!!!

I know that this may be coming a little late but I like the changes that were implemented here and there to the board.  Very nice!  Now that things are slowly winding down...yuck...I have finals week coming up this week, I can visit more often and hopefully get back in the groove of contributing at the same level that I used to before.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello again and hopefully I'll see everyone around the board again!

Yeah, it's great to get back veteran posters.  I know how hard it can be to do other stuff with crappy school and work.  I won't get into how crappy school can be, but work can suck, especially with my job requesting a web site, then saying they want a different file structure on the server, requiring massive numbers of links to be redone, and then switching servers, requiring a fair amount of work for stuff with absolute path, all within about two-three weeks.  Anyway, it's done for the most part, except for some final password protection stuff that needs to be changed.  Winter break is coming up too, and I'm going to Steamboat, CO for a sweet ski trip.  I've never been skiing in CO before, so this should be really cool.  (I have been skiing for about 6 years, though.)

Woo Hoo!!! Finally! I just finished my last final today and it's off for two more quarters and then I'm done.  That pin prick of light at the end of the tunnel is now starting to look a little bigger.  ;D Man, just by describing what's going on with your server situation made me tired...hahaha!  Anyway, it is good to be back again and hopefully I won't go off and vanish like I did before again.  It's good to see that most of the peole that started off here are still around posting away.  Not to mention it's also good to see that the board has enjoyed an increase in membership as well.

Yup, my last day was Friday, so that was good, but long overdue.  Even since I've been here I've notice a fairly significant growth in posting and membership, and we're welcoming new additions nearly every day!
