| Again, fairly simple layout. It’s disappointing to see them continuing the trend of misrepresenting a gigabyte as 1000MB, instead of the value of 1024MB that the computer uses. This means that the drive, while advertised at 256GB, will show up as a 238GB volume when connected to your computer. It’s worth noting that this is hardly unique to Crucial, everybody who sells any kind of storage does this now. |  |

The orange theme continues to the housing of the drive itself. Four screws hold the housing in place; easy enough to remove if you’re feeling adventurous—and don’t mind voiding your warranty. I do mind, so the those screws are staying right where they are. |
