Unpacking and Inspection of Components
When I received the EOS system I was greeted with a orange, white, & black color scheme on all the boxes except the biggest one containing the loudspeakers. While I don’t normally count orange in among one of my favorite colors the packaging was very attractive and well thought out providing a moderate level of information about the product. The sole exception was the loudspeaker the packaging for the loudspeakers was a pretty plain brown box with a line drawing of speakers on the front, honestly this isn’t a deal breaker I just found it strange to have such a difference in the boxing.

Front side of the speaker has the volume/power nob and the antenna which will light up a bright blue when the unit is powered on. |
On the back side of the portable speaker you can see the wall plug, this plug snaps out of the back and has attached to it about 4ft of cord so you are not limited to only walls when placing this speaker. |

The receiver has a large volume nob that is easy to see in the dark; also on the front is a 3.5mm audio in jack so you can easily connect your media player to this powered set of speakers. |
The amplified receiver is designed to provide power to a standard speaker set utilizing speaker cable. Much like all the other receivers and transmitters this also glows blue. |
EOS Converge Receiver/Transmitter

This transmitter can be powered by either USB from your computer or by a separate power adapter ( not shown here.) If you choose to power it via USB it will act as a USB sound device. The transmitter is required to stream internet radio or iTunes to the other nodes. |
This receiver will connect to just about any set of self-powered speakers effectively making them wireless and allowing you to stream to them as well. |

I chose to use one of the manufactures pictures because it shows a good shot of the speakers under the mesh front as well as a decent shot of the back which has simple screw mounts for your speaker cable. |
I was pretty surprised at the build quality of all of the individual pieces you would expect that a manufacture would try to cut corners as often as they can but Intellitouch provided superb build quality to all of the pieces. The quality extends to the receivers which are relatively simple pieces of electronics and which feel very solid and secure in your hands.
Nice product. You can also fill your house with music with a Grace Digital Internet radio.
