Is the Video Card King?

So is the video card more important than the CPU today? Why not take the tech found in Video cards and build an OS run by the vid card? Seems like it would be capable of far more calculations.

What do you think?

If one is an avid Gamer definitely the answer is yes. If not, I don't think it's that important.

The CPU is important, but the importance falls when it comes to gaming.
The cpu important era has dropped after Pentium 3.
