Black Hawk Down?
Now we get to the most important part of any RC helicopter: how it actually flies. As with the previous sections, the Helo TC once again performs a bit substandard. The controls themselves work perfectly; the app is easy to understand and use, and everyone given the opportunity to fly the TC figured it out with incredibly ease. However, there is a very noticeable lag between the input of commands and the helicopter’s response, and when flying a helicopter in tight confines, a second and a half of delay is simply unforgivable. The integrated ‘flight plans’ (which record maneuvers and plays them back on command) is a brilliant idea to aid novice pilots, but the frustrating delay in controls virtually negates any helpfulness. The same goes for the ‘auto land’ feature, while it’s a great idea, the lag in control input means that the Helo will generally get the auto land command too late for it to be of any use.
Hi there! I know this is kinda off topic however , I’d figured I’d ask. Would you be interested in trading links or maybe guest writing a blog article or vice-versa? My blog addresses a lot of the same subjects as yours and I think we could greatly benefit from each other. If you are interested feel free to send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you! Wonderful blog by the way!
