ineo 3.5″ USB3.0 External Enclosure

*For our benchmarks, I tested a Seagate 7200 barracuda in both the enclosure (connected via USB 3.0) and internal (Connected to SATA III) to determine if the enclosure is slowing the transfer rates.

We see for both tests that the performance is comparable from internal to external.  This is not to say that the drive performs at SATA III speeds.
