InWin Commander 850W PSU

Packaging:

The In Win Commander 850W PSU was packaged very well. It comes in a very solid looking camo package wrapped in plastic. The front of the displays 850W and an In Win Commander military-esque style badge that simply screams warfare for gamers. The sides and back of the box give all the specifications and features. This box is definitely something that should be displayed as a trophy rather than just tossed in the trash after installation.

packaging

Upon removing the well fit plastic wrap and opening the box, everything, as you will notice, was packaged very tightly inside. The manual for the In Win PSU laid on top of everything else and matches the camo on the box itself. Within the box is the PSU itself, all the cables you will ever need for its very fitting modular cable design, a white travel bag displaying the In Win logo, a pouch to carry the cables, and in a separate box the power cord and screws for installation. The cables were wrapped in a plastic bag and the PSU itself was sheathed in bubble wrap.

A Closer Look:

Taking out the In Win Commander 850W PSU itself allows me to see the ammo canister like appearance up close. The very simplistic appearance of the dark green PSU along with the military-like badge on the side sporting the same picture as seen on the box itself is very eye catching. It houses a monster looking 140mm two ball bearing fan that hopefully cuts down some noise for its size. There are small plastic caps covering the connectors on the back of the PSU. The red ends are all labeled for PCI-E and the male counter parts are also marked in red for easy plug and play. The modular cable design plus the sleeved cables themselves should allow for a good looking and well organized space within a computer chassis.
