Packaging:

The APC SurgeArrest P7GT Power Strip comes packaged in a small box with a very descriptive, bright cover. Many features of the device are displayed on the front, and the buyer will note the "Lifetime Product Warranty" blurb in the corner.

After opening the box, we see what is included: the SurgeArrest, a manual, and a phone cable. The manual is very good at describing the use of the power strip, as it is a very simple device to operate.

A Closer Look:

A closer look at the device shows us that the single plug (far left) is meant for the computer. The three "controlled" outlets are in the middle white box, and three standalone plugs are located on the far right.

We can also see, from looking at the side, that we have phone line surge protection as well.

If too much of a load is pulled from the strip, a circuit breaker is thrown and can be reset with the switch located on the adjacent side.
