The packaging is an aesthetically pleasing exercise in functional minimalism. The model number and 80Plus certification logo are prominently featured on the front, along with a shot of the PSU itself. The back features a list of load specifications, along with a graph of the noise output of the fan at various system loads. One side is printed with a feature list, while the other includes a handy list of connectors, so you can see at a glance if this PSU is going to give you the hookups you need.

A Closer Look:
The contents follow this minimalist trend, giving you exactly what is needed and no more. Included are the power supply itself, bookended in a pair of foam caps, and an instruction manual. Notable for its lack is an AC wall cord. Most PC enthusiasts have a bunch of these lying about anyhow, but take note: if you do not have a spare AC cable, you will need to purchase one.
Opting for simplicity, Glacal Power has opted to skip the modular cabling design that has become so popular in favor of a permanently-attached bundle of cables. While this might present added difficulty in cable management in certain systems, there is something to be said for not having to wonder where that extra device cable has got to. With an average length of 25in, the length of the drive cables is more than adequate for most systems. At just under 20in, the ATX 24Pin and CPU12V 4/8Pin connectors are a bit on the short side, but this is only really an issue if you have a bottom-of-case PSU bracket or a reversed motherboard mount.
