Raidmax Scorpio 668 Case Review
Reviewed by Joey Keith on 02.24.2004

Estimated Retail Value: $129.00

Performance
Aluminum dissipates heat a lot faster than regular metal, so the cooling performance of this case is hard to beat. With all 5 fans installed in the case, I have found the best way to route airflow is to have the 2 fans at the front of the case along with the fan in the window blowing cool air into the case. Then the 2 fans at the rear being used to exhaust the hot air. An Enermax power supply (not included) also blows hot air out the back of the case. With 3 fans allowing cool air in and 3 fans blowing hot air out the case stays nice and cool. Some temperature reading were taken from a steel ATX case and from the new Raidmax Scorpio aluminum case.

As you can see there was a 5 degree difference between the 2 cases. While 5 degrees may not seem like a lot, every little bit can help your computer perform better.
