Fanatec Porsche 911 Racing Wheel

We received the unit and immediately noticed the smart and beautiful looking silver, red & white stylish box with the Fanatec brand name on the sides, the Porsche 911 Turbo Wheel description and clearly showing that this unit is meant for both PC computers and Playstations. We were in great anticipation to receive this unit since it advertised that it has a wireless connection, for both the steering wheel and pedals unit, to your computer via a USB device, provided by the company. We were very interested in not only how this unit would perform, but also with how strong of a connection we would experience through the wireless connection, and to see if there would be any discernable "lag" from it.
The box comes with a plastic handle that allows you to pick it up easily. As we opened the controller box, we were greeted with a message on the package flaps, in four parts, which added to the anticipation of what we were to encounter inside, building the excitement. This message states "Take a deep breath... , Relax... , Not yet!, and GO GO GO!". As we pulled the last of the four box closing flaps, we were immediately impressed with the packaging and protection of the device components inside as well as the great use of space within the box. Every component within the box was enclosed in a bag, as well as surrounded by a cardboard liner and had foam bumpers to protect it from damage and/or scratching.
