The FIC Condor

Review by Jason Jacobs on 9/10/04

FIC

Performance

In terms of performance the FIC Condor was tested in the following configuration:

FIC Condor Intel D865GWV
Intel P4 Prescott 3.2 GHZ
Kingston HyperX PC3200 2x256MB (512 Total)
Western Digital 800JB
36X CDROM
Windows XP SP2
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 256MB

The following tests were performed:

3DMark 01 SE
3DMark 03
3DMark 05
Quake 3 v1.32

The results were as followed:

As you can see, the Condor does pretty well for a SFF system, and it's more than capable of playing today's games when the AGP slot is used. The system went through a number of tests, and all of the games we threw at it performed without error or any lag during gameplay. Of course, if you decide to utilize a more powerful AGP card from Nvidia or ATI than the one used in this review your results will be even better still. Heat will be a concern so long as stock cooling is used, but it shouldn't be too bad with a case fan, even when a bulky AGP card is inserted.

On to the Conclusion.
