Some more information prvided by Nexus would be a graph showing the sound absoption coefficient (%) of the foam layer.

Conclusion: If your machine has a rattle, or it is really screaming due to the amount of extreme components that are distracting you from enjoying your system the DampTEK will muffle it for you. This is a first for this reviewer to use such material in a PC, but it really does work! I have a water kit in my system which after installing DampTEK, I can barley hear it anymore. I would believe it until after the material was installed. Now, there is plenty of material to do a full tower and if your system has side window like mine, then there will be plenty of material left over to start on another system.
