The specifications listed above is quite a laundry list and makes one ask "If the MSI Wind is listed as a netbook which has general purpose features, than isn't all that is listed above enough to list the Wind as a notebook?" The answer is not quite. The MSI Wind does not come with a DVD Rom and with its small form factor, using the MSI wind for crunching numbers of resource demanding client/server applications may leave the user wanting something with a little more horsepower. The use of the MSI Wind is ideal for classrooms, meetings and even use while on a flight where the tray and the reclined passenger in the seat in front of you still leave plenty of room to be able to read the screen. Also for those of us who travel a lot will find the weight being of 2.6lbs a welcomed feature and the days of carrying a 17" screen laptop weighing 12 to 17lbs a thing of the past.

There are a number of features that stand out which makes the MSI Wind stand out from its competitors. These include the 10” LED screen which is very bright and uses a lot less energy than a LCD which assists with extending battery life. The size of the U100 is just slightly smaller than the previously reviewed Asus N10J-A1, but somehow MSI has designed a keyboard that is still comfortable to use even for those with large hands.  There are multiple of features the U100 has which include the integrated web cam, Bluetooth along with others which makes the MSI Wind U100 very useful and desirable.
