Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 2.0

Review by Jason Jacobs on 4/21/04
Wireless Desktop Provided by Microsoft

In The Box:

The Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 2.0 comes with a 27Mhz multimedia wireless keyboard and wireless optical mouse with Tilt Wheel technology. An installation manual, set of batteries, and the receiver. Also included is an installation CD with the software necessary for the multimedia functionality of the keyboard to work. The CD software is not necessary for the keyboard and mouse to perform basic functionality, only for the function keys and to assign keys other functionality.

Once the batteries are in the keyboard and mouse, and the receiver plugged into the computer you can begin using the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop. The first thing you will notice is that the mouse LED will begin flashing when it is not used. Check THE VIDEO to see what we are speaking about. This is the mouse putting itself into a low power utilization state.
