As you can see the results are interesting, on the 1M calculation the E5320 beats the 5150 by 7 seconds, and on the 2M calculation the E5320 is slower by 17 seconds. Super Pi mod 1.4 is not multi-core aware and utilized only one processor during the entire test.

It is important to note that the Sisoft Sandra CPU test is multi-core aware and utilized all 8 cores during the test. The results of a multi-core aware application are staggering. The lower clocked E5320 wins by a mile in this test.

Once again the E5320 is allowed to flex its muscles on all 8 cores and wins in this test as well.

The results of cache bandwidth on the E5320 are very impressing showing how much processing power this chip has in a multi-core aware environment.
