The Plextor does not have a problem reading a burned CD just as easily as a pressed CD, and neither does the Lite-On. The Teac slows down considerably while reading a burned CD, but, like the Plextor, maintains its low cpu usage. The Lite-On, however, uses a little bit more processor power to keep up its performance.
