Hitachi Deskstar 7K400 vs Seagate Barracuda 7200.8 400 GB

Provider:  Seagate
Manufacturer:  Hitachi

Here we have our PCMark04 test, and a couple game loading tests.  Once again on the PCMark04 test we see the NCQ enabled Seagate drive actually falling behind, and we see how much of a difference to your score a RAID 0 configuration can do with an almost 1500 point gain.  On the game loading tests we decided to go with Quake 3 and Call of Duty.  The RAID 0 config. loads Quake 3 in an amazing 2.27 seconds.  And finally we see NCQ bring some light to the table with both game loading tests seeing a small increase with NCQ enabled.
