Introduction to the KINGWIN ELITe:
KINGWIN sent us one of their premier external hard drive enclosures, the KINGWIN ELITe which comes in three colors; Red, blue, and black. These units support both USB 2.0 and eSATA, meaning that you can use this at a standard USB 2.0 connection rate or as though it were an internal drive at full 3Gb/s on any laptop or desktop equipped with eSATA. If you are in the market for an external hard drive and want something that looks good and runs nicely, but don’t want to spend a lot of money, then the Kingwin ELITe may just be your answer.

Packaging:
As with most KINGWIN products, the ELITe came packaged well. The enclosure itself came wrapped in bubble wrap, preventing any scratches or scuff marks. All of the accessories came boxed within. Shaking the box before opening provided no rattling, assurance of well packaged material.
