Gigabyte GV-R98P128D Radeon 9800 Pro 128 MB

Review by Edward Chang on 04.20.2004

The Card:

The Gigabyte Radeon 9800 Pro looks similar to the Radeon 9700. They're both red, use BGA memory, and have an external power connector.

The FIC Radeon A95P is equipped with 8-chips of Samsung 2.8-nanosecond DDR SGRAM. This memory rating corresponds to a maximum operating frequency of 357 MHz (714 MHz DDR).

Time to check out the Radeon 9800's brethren and competition.
