CineFX Engine:

The CineFX engine boosts the emphasis of shading.  In the past, video cards used simple pixel fill rates, while now, the CineFX engine has progressed to using complex pixel shading.  This innovation leads to more elaborate effects and capabilities in graphics.  To give the CineFX engine greater versatility, the engine supports both OpenGL and Microsoft DirectX environments, including DirectX 9.

Intellisample Technology:

Intellisample technology works by having the video card retrieve a higher-resolution version of each image and resizes and resamples each image before outputting it to the monitor.  This leads to smoother edges and fewer imperfections.
