Article by Jason Jacobs on 12.18.2003
Video card courtesy of PowerColor
MSRP $399

Test Setup:

The tesing rig used in these benchmarks was configured as follows:

Abit Nforce 2 NF7-S
512 MB Hyper X Dual Channel PC 3200
AMD Barton 2500+
2- 80GB Western Digital SE

This equates to a relatively average AMD system and results should be typical for systems configured in this range depending upon the graphic card used. Each test was let run to completion at which point a screenshot was captured. The results are as shown.

It is easy to see that the 9800 is the most powerful card in this lineup. Acheiving 2,203 points more than the 5900 turbo, which is running higher core and memory speeds.

On to the 3Dmark 2003 scores.
