Review - Xabre 600 Pro by PowerColor

Review by James on 04.30.2003

UnReal Tournament Results

Again, at low quality settings, the GeForce card stands on top of the Xabre, but the Xabre's increasing diminishing returns set in later, allowing it to remain consistent as quality goes up, whereas the GeForce drops quickly. However, the Xabre's minimal performance at both quality levels: 16-20 FPS is not enough for a quality gaming experience.

Though the same trend continues, it appears the Xabre card can deliver enough FPS to maintain a decent gaming experience in this arena.

Again, the GeForce card regularly performs better at a lower quality setting, while the Xabre clearly pulls ahead, though not by much, at higher image quality. It provides decent quality gaming most of the time, but it will slow down at times, providing a choppy (and deadly) experience.
