Tests and Scores While all benchmarks provide synthetic scores they do provide relative performance. Take a look how the X800XL fared in a battery of tests.
The X800XL shows that it is a serious contender that can perform with the uppper mid range cards. While a 6800 and X850 will score considerably higher the actual performance difference in games is between 5 and 20 fps. At all times during gameplay the fps never dropped below a playable rate. The question becomes is it worth it?
