Why would you want to overclock a Core 2 Duo CPU? It’s aderaly fast enough. Overclocking is for the old days with slower CPUs and you want to push the juices out of them. If you do want to overclock, you need good memory chips. Also, you’ve gotta use some Taiwan made motherboards, such as Abit, Asus, Gigabyte and etc because those boards are made for that with a lot of options that you can play around in the BIOS. My pick is Asus. For a cpu cooler, just get a fan with high RPM but make sure its has a low noise ratio.
