Closer Look

Starting from the top we have a soft-touch rubber finish, rubber coated scroll wheel and 4-level DPI selector that you find on many gaming mice. What you won’t find on those other mice is the air ventilation holes that allow for air flow to keep your hands dry and the screw for adjusting height. By turning that screw, you can move the body of the mouse up or down for a total of 5mm, allowing you to fine tune the mouse to your hand size or grip style.

On the left side of the mouse we have the A and B buttons and “S” selector which are all fully programmable. The S selector can move up/down and forward/backward as well as pressed. By default, forward/back is DPI adjustment and pressing in is for changing profiles.

On the right side of the Level 10 M are two more buttons, C and D, which are also fully programmable. Behind them is another adjusting screw, this time to change the left/right tilt of the body up to 5 degrees in either direction.

One thing I wasn’t a fan of was the soft-touch rubber finish on the body of the mouse. While these types of coatings are nice for a while, they tend to wear out over time until the heavily used areas (left click button and right under your palm generally) are just the plastic underneath. Only time will tell if this coating will last though.

On the bottom we see the full aluminum base, which is designed to help dissipate heat along with the vent holes on the body. Aside from the aluminum, the dominate feature of the base is the massive teflon feet which should allow the mouse to glide smoothly over most surfaces.
