Vantec NexStar CX SuperSpeed USB 3.0 external drive enclosure

Installation is fairly straight forward. First, get a 3.5″ hard drive. I’m using a 160GB Western Digital Caviar that I had lying around. I plug it into the matching male SATA port, and secure the drive to the rails with the provided screws. Next, I connect the LED power cable to the board, and slide the HDD into the case. Finally, I screw the case closed for a secure fit. Now, on to the testing.
