Default Trillian

Who else here is using trillian?

It seems that AIM is blocking trillian, I wonder how they are able to sense that on their systems.

Anyone know how they do it?

Never heard of Trillian, what is it?

Just a guess but most apps use specific ports for their communication. All you have to do is block that port and tada, you're out.

I can use Trillian with Aim on my computer.  I don't have any problems logging onto it.  So....I dunno. :-/

Yeah i am going to have to agree with vee_ess on that one since Trillian updates every so often.  I that is not the case, you might try emailing Trilian and ask that of you problem if you have not already.  Since it provides all those others like AIM, and Yahoo!, all those are allways updating as well.  So try to look for an updated verson @ www.trillian.cc

-keefe-

Sounds like everything is going smooth.  Have you tried the website.  Respond if it is working fine so we know, k.  If it is still not working for you,  im guessing that it has nothing to do with Trillian or AIM.  Good luck!

Trillian and AIM are having a big ass war at the moment cuz AIM keeps changin gits protocol and Trillian is releasing patches nearly every day to try and get around it..

Oh so thats the problem.... Well if this keeps up Trillian will eventually rid of AIM once and for all.  This confrontation im sure isnt making its users any happier, infact, i bet they will lose quite a bit of them.  I am afraid that AIM will have to break away from Trillian.  That sux!
