In normal writting, yes, but not when trying to portray how I would be speaking. Commas indicate a pause, and where ever i had a comma, is a place i would have paused, had I been speaking to you.

that is incorrect comma usage... you don't just slap a comma in there whereever you pause.. I learned that in a beginner english class... you aught to try taking one....

You apparently didnt read a thing i wrote in my last post, did you, Jason? I was writing as if i was talking, without using the ... as you do. I have never liked doing that, since it is the symbol meaning there is more at the begining, or end of a sentence that you are quoting.

ok firstly, due to connotations, verbage, dialects, and uneducated people, "normal writing" does not exist [notice the spelling of "writing"]. Secondly, as Commas are intangible, you cannot ever "have one". Thirdly, "place" as a noun, refers to an area or region, however you seem to think it can be used to describe a space in time. You cannot be "at" a comma, although you may "place" them in a sentence, perhaps this confused you? You will notice also that in the above instance the connotation of "space" is that of allocation, period [as in time], or section, further suppoting the argument against "normal writing" as it is still proper.

feel free to correct any errors you may find in the preceeding, as it completely nullifies your previous arguments, rendering your opinion worthless.

...while i get what you were trying to say, do you actually pause that much when you talk?
