Default Bad advice

Just wondering how many geeks out there know about some good/bad advice.  Like in the BOFH articals atwww.theregister.co.uk .  My favorite if you can find it is the etherkiller.  A standard outlet plug wired to an ethernet Jack.  Pure genius.  Saves a ton on wiring because you don't need to run all that unnecessary Cat 5 cable.  Just wire the Lan card to the electrical system.  It's all copper.  My personal favorite me and some friend decided on was to abandon typical formatting software and accomplish this with a belt sander.  Just gotta be careful to get a nice even finish.  And if all else fails die grinders are more than capable of removing bad sectors.  Partioning could also be made much easier with acetlyn torches.  Just a few thoughts let me know if ya'll have any.  Just remember, it's all a bad idea.
