Default Best web cam...anyone?

I want the best web cam I can get. Intended purpose, video chat rooms.
Do not need fancy software.
Do not need great still pics.

I want fast and clear video.
What is the best web cam for me?

Kevin

Hmm, I have the 3Com usb webcam and i think that it is great!  It takes great still pictures and video.  It did cost me like $99 six months ago, the price has gone down greatly since then.
I would definetly recommend getting a webcam that can disconnect from your computer and can be used as a digital camera.  They are not that much more expensive and you get that added feature.

I searched locally and only a few cams even here. I picked an Intel Pro. I read a few reviews now, and I want a 3Com, I'll have to order that on net.

Thanks,

Kevin

I bought my 3Com from Staples.com, after a 20 dollor off coupon and a 20 dollor mail in rebate it was a pretty sweet deal!

I bought a Creative WebCam Go about a year ago or so.  It's actually pretty decent and it takes decent quality still pics.  However, one thing I missed on it is that it does not have a built-in mic.  It would be good to make sure that the webcam does have a built-in mic...that's what I think.
