Nice article there.  Wow...I can overclock my Athlon to about 1.3 GHz...hhmm...just might look into that. All I need now is to get my hands on the equipment or how about a cryo freezer...hehehe. You think that pump is going to be one NOISY thing?

I have had AWESOME experiences with the complete water cooling kits from http://www.freakincold.com - these are great kits and provide very impressive results. The shipping is fast and the prices pretty damn reasonable. I have done business with them for awhile now and never had a problem.

I really want to try watercooling, but i am always a little scared when I think of water in my computer.  We all know that computers+water = bad joojoo.  I was thinking of designing my own kit where everything fits into the case.  This project probally will not be finished for a while, but I am still working hard to get all of the parts and design it.

Does anyone here have a watercooled system?  If so, explain it a little bit...

Thanks

Keep in mind that pure de-ionized water does not conduct electricity.
You could completely submerge your PC in a tub of de-ionized water and it would run fine.

Tap water, on the other hand, contains minerals which conduct electricity.

Sea water would be even worse, as the sodium (salt) will conduct even better than tap water.

I have 2 sets of water cooling kits... The first was a submerged pump with radiator and alluminum waterblock for the cpu... vid wasnt worth the effort... yet...

I am also presently testing a bong water cooling rig... Very kewl.. but Im not to sure how well it will cool... but still testing...

What exactly is it that you are wanting described? I might be able to help a little more...
