Fav Band

Who's your favorite bands and why, no pop shit! For me:
Creed - Good Lyrics and Guitarist of the year in Tremonti
Blink182 - They're nuts and have a good modern punk sound
LP - Lead Vocal has ability in all ranges, they are the best Rock hybrid band right now

I'm going for the spread here...
Orgy - caters to my dark moods.
Rob Zombie - same as Orgy...
Korn - see above...
Blink182 - funny ass videos!
Limp Bizkit - has a certain edgey sound that I like
Bob Marley and the Wailers - the cure whenever you're feeling IRIE (Note: I have never done drugs and I probably never will...I don't see the point. Live life with your eyes open.)

Boy picking a fav band has always been a hard one I'm a real
music addict. I have over 2000 vinyl albums and close to
1000 cds (definately no boy bands - barf ) I always seem
to go back to the older bands
Beatles - what can I say awesome
Pink Floyd - blows me away everytime
Led  Zeppelin - oh ya !
Ted Nuggent - I love watching him stroke that guitar and making it scream
George Thorogood - always puts me in a party mood
The only band from your lists I don't have and have never heard of is "Orgy" I'll go to napstar and check them out.

the Dave Matthews Band is one of the bests bands I know of!!

Doh! I totally forgot to list Dave Matthews Band with my list! I have to tell you, they sound spectacular in concert. I was just at their concert at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles and they absolutely rocked the house!  If you're going to try Orgy Tokey, I think you should start off with their album "Candyass" and I think you might be familiar with a song on that album entitled "Blue Monday."  Of course, the new song, Fiction (Dreams In Digital) from their latest album is also pretty good.

Orgy is a pretty decent band the've done some covers and what not.  I wouldn't recommend extended listening though...it might get repeditive.

Yeah, Orgy tends to get repetitive on their stuff.  That's why I only listen to basically only half the CD in one session or so and then I'll come back to the rest later when I feel in the mood.

I'm really a blink182 fan they have the funniest songs, and for sure Limp Bizkit, I am really into 3rd eye blind, virtical horizon, and yes I like the goo goo dolls!  Once in a while I like rap too like DMX but thats only on very angry mode!
