Internet Explorer 5.5 questions

I recently reformatted my computer and reinstalled windows 2000 prof on it.  I also downloaded and installed internet explorer 5.5.  That is what i had running on it originally.  I have installed all of the most recent drivers for each device and everything is working great except IE.  Whenever I scroll on certain pages...including these forums....the windows keeps flashing a lot.  Almost like a strobe effect on the page.  Has anyone had this problem, or does anyone know of how to fix it?

I would double check your Vid Drivers and ensure you are using the correct and latest drivers.

I do not think it's an IE issue
