I installed a new fan in my computer. It is not plugged in the same spot as the other one. Now my BIOS hardware Monitor doesnt detect a fan. Now every time i turn my computer on I need to push F1 to continue to windows. I called the Manufacturer of my computer and he said that the Hardware Monitor can be disabled but he doesn't know how.
Is this ture? If so how would I disable it?

What bios are you using.

I am not sure. I went into the BIOS page and it said AwardBIOS at the top. I think that is the name.

I have an MB with an award bios. Go into the power settings or power managment setting. Then you should see something for mother board monitoring. If this does not help take a digital picture of the different parts of the bios for us

I don't really know what else to tell you. It should be in the power managment area.

That's why I'm here man. Try looking towards thr back of your MB users guide. That should tell you what to do in the BIOS.
