not really. Like, what is the criteria of these groups. Should I stick the more advanced users in a group called 'nerds' or something?

groups of people who specialize in:
Ethics
Security
Hardware
Case Mods
Over Clocking

These people would be key participators in w/e fourm they correspond to

Isn't that what our rank pertains too...well for a partial part anyway. We have moderators and admins. Those are user groups. Hell, try it. It might bring some life to these forums.

meh im still an Uber Techie...

anyways
i dont feel that a new usergroup is completely necessary
because it will get tooooo complicated
some people might specialize in all
and who has the time to assign all of the members?

User groups are not necessary. We don't need to further branch us off into specific catagories. We are not books or jepordy topics for that matter.
