I don't get this...i have like all my stuff unhooked except for my 2 hds and mobo, and card. direct x tests passed. no resource conflicts. i got half life 2 and it does the same thing.

same power supply? It just might not be able to handle it...

yeah id go get an antec. or at least the biggest you can find. ive got 2 cold cathodes that'll restart my machine if i turn them on while its runnin, sometimes bigger is the only way to go i guess.. i want to get one of those new modulated ones. neopower i think theyre called.

those super high end psu's are so expensive.. it's crazy..

$109 at zipzoomfly right now. but, compared to the other components of the PC, and considering you absolutely have to have one, im surprised they dont cost more than they do.

thanks scanning the mag, although i usually pick up that mag sometime in the month... i think I'm going with a bigger case cause i have too much in this one. I was thinking about going with 2 PSUs but now just thinking about getting a big PSU. I disabled the fast write and no freezes...a friend of mine told me to keep it enabled and my sheet i think says to have it enabled. then again the main problem is my psu. i had everything unhooked and it lowered the card settings automatically cause of power. cards are so freakin big. anyway since the fast write was disabled it can have slight jitters in half life 2 and other games.
