I was for a while. Mandrake just kept pissing me off. Never could get the graphics setup right so the GUI would load and I'm not good at Linux command line. Then when it would work the damn portmapping would cause it to lock up when it shutdown. When it wasn't that it was something else. Ended up doint my monthly format about 2 months late and haven't tried Linux again yet.

ive done quad boot before for my friend
he wanted to see how multi-booting is done so i grabbed a copy of BeOS, win2k pro, win98 se, and redhat linux 6.1 (it was a while ago) the result was a bit confusing for him... first i used FIPS, a partition tool came with redhat... it was hard to use though not a very user friendly program but it does get the job done... partitioned for redhat... and it automatically installed LILO but i selected no for it because i want to use the BeOS's Boot Manager but i had to have a linux boot disk handy to do this... anyways next step i installed win2k then win98se then partitioned for BeOS then installed it... got the BootMan installed if u have some money to spare, Systerm Commander is a good software with good GUI for booting... also let u partition and format... |
I had a multi boot with Wiin98, Win2000, and Linux
heres how it looked Boot -> Grub(bootloader) DOS, Linux /DOS Microsoft Windows 2000 Microsoft Windows 98 hope that helped |
